Child Labor Outrage!
Sorry to Say! I have a problem with the 60 Minutes episode on Child Labor. It Depicts Migrant Teenagers working with their Family. This, to all of you who have any exposure to reality in an Agricultural area, is normal. Some how, To this Give your Kids Everything, Make sure their Lazy by never encouraging them to go outside and Buy them $100 dollar Shoes at the Mall Society, this is shocking! Then you wonder why your kids have no ambition and "Blame," minorities for taking their Jobs? I'm Tired of it and think Shows Like 60 Minutes are Selling Out! I'm mean Look at all the Popular Shows like Good Morning America, The CBS Evening News and Nightline. They all mix their Reporters to Cater to a Diverse Audience. The Truth is the Parent Company that owns these Shows have Rich White Guys (RWG's) as their Producers. Each Network uses Polling to get their Numbers like the Neilsen Ratings Group. It's Marketing! folks. Your a Middle Aged Minority sitting on the Couch on a Sunday Night watching T.V. This episode on 60 minutes comes on about Child Labor and curiously the only example they can find is Migrant families! You sip your Beverage and think that's terrible as you go to the Fridge to find a snack. Okay! Reality check Time! That Big Screen your looking at is made up of alot of parts, but mostly a Circuit Board with alot of Conductors on it. Wow! How did that get there? Child Labor? Maybe? You walk to your Fridge and open the door to stair at alot of pre-packaged items. Now, all that was put together by assembly line machines that were probably put together either in Canada or Mexico. Maybe, not Child Labor, but the parts used to make it were! So finally! you find something to your liking and you make it out of ingredients purchased from the Local Grociery Store. Guess What? the same story your watching is probably how your food got to the market. Pretty ironic don't you think? My Problem is we need to stop Manufacturing Outrage because it's Pathetic! Maybe those Who believed the World was going to end on Saturday were Right! It's like whatever little Integrity we had as a Society is Gone? So, in a religous view, the World did end? I don't think it was Saturday though because Memorial weekend is next week and that's when all the Good Sales are on! Ha! Ha! You see I am one of the hypocrates, but at least I know the truth. Back to the RWG's and Idiotic Stories on 60 minutes, the whole Idea is to sell Inconveniant Outrage! I got too Patent that Phrase, but what it means is to see something you don't care about. Honestly! it's the last Frontier the Media has as an attention getter before they start the Summer Re-run Season. People accuse Obama of Pandering to certain Ethnic Groups for votes, but Multi-media Corporations do it everyday. You ever wonder why a box of Cereal has to have a whole entourage dancing to the latest Mix-beats? We are the Cattle-they Prod (RWG's) and when the herd is moving a little to slow, manufacture some outrage! Arnold S. has a Love Child, "Cue the Theme Music." The Kid is Ten Years Old. Don't you think this was a story... Ten Years Ago? Heck! if you can still get some mileage out of a story like that go for it. How about Strauss-Kahn, not the actual spelling, but who cares? He was a Banker and their Bad, Boo! You see, it's a a Big Front too keep your mind off the fact that you just got Screwed out of your Job, House and your life Savings, so some Big Company can have Record profits. That's the Story they won't tell you (RWG's) and you won't see until election time 2012. First it will be like, were ending the wars and bringing all the Troops Home. Then, well have to go Manufacture Demo-crazy for some other Country that doesn't want us there! You know why? Because Grenades don't Detonate Themselves! Okay I got most of it out of my system and I feel better. Really, I'm not a Hater of Rich White Guys. If I ever get serious about publishing a Modern Native Conspiracy Theories of the 21st Century Book, I'll hire one for a Publicist. Until then, I'll just Arm-Chair Quaterback all my Political Campaigns. One Funny thing before I go though. In the Episode about Child Labor, the Reporter asks the Dad how much money he lost because it rained and they couldn't work. The dad reaches into his pocket and pulls out a cell phone to add it up then decides against it and answers $40 dollars per son. Their were two sons so it's $80 dollars and if you add the dad's wages at another $40, it's about $120 dollars. Heck! in one day? That's better then alot of people. Plus he doesn't have to take his boys to the Mall because their probably tired from working in the field all day. Moral of the Story? If you don't want to feel Guilty about that Midnite Snack, Grow a Garden
